It’s a WORKSHOP!!!!!
So…after many more requests for another Basic Photography Workshop…..I have been able to plan a third “Basic Photography Workshop.” Read further for what’s taught and how to sign up. I am only taking limited registrations ~
What ~ Basic Photography Boot Camp **open to anyone!
When ~ Friday, January 23rd 7p-9p & Saturday, 24th 10a-6p
Cost ~ $175 *includes snacks, drinks, lunch, and a workbook.
Register ~ Seating will be limited for the quality of instruction to 10 attendees only. If you would like to sign up, please pay the workshop fee under the payment tab up above listed as “January Workshop” You can pay with any credit card or through paypal. Once I receive that, I will send you a confirmation email will forward you the sign up form that you will need to fill out.
Instruction ~ We will go over basic photography principles about lighting & placement. You will learn how to use your camera and you will be able to shoot in manual by the time you leave! You will also have a chance to watch me shoot and will practice on a few guest subjects as well. You will also be shown beginner to intermediate techniques in Photoshop and other editing programs. It doesn’t matter what type of camera you have, you will still learn how to use it! I will also be giving you a workbook including a majority of this information and a cd of some basic photoshop actions & textures.

Hey Lisa, I’m so excited you are offering a workshop – I love your work!! Just checking if this is something just “moms” wanting to learn how to use their cameras on something other than auto would benefit from or if this would help me jump to the next step technically with my camera and business! Cindy ~ Thanks for asking! My first workshop was all aspiring photographers….the second workshop was mostly parents with a few photogs…My booklet covers both. I will teach basic camera usage…this is essential to understanding how to learn the rest….and many start a business without knowing all of this…( I was one of those!) I do talk the business side as well, and a little more photoshop than the “parent” might use right away, but all of this will be tweaked and depending on who attends, there will be plenty of time to individualize it. As far as **magic** we all know that’s something that beginning photogs think the big dogs have….but then find out…it’s not magic…it’s just what you learn and how you use it. Hope this helps!

I attended this workshop in February 2008…it was Lisa’s first one. I LOVED every minute of it, and I’m sure you will, too! At this price, it is a STEAL…and you will leave with new information, techniques, and a handy workbook that you’ll be referring to for years to come. The actions Lisa gave us were very helpful, too. I can’t say enough good things about Lisa, her photography, or this workshop! If you have any further questions about my take on the workshop, feel free to contact me.

I’m sorry…I just sent you an e-mail through your elite website and then I ran across your blog. Anyway, I would LOVE to take your workshop but I can’t do it that weekend! Do you hold these often?
