WOW ~ is all I can say.  My whole drive to my hotel…looked like the pictures below….every second of it!  Yesterday, I went with Nathan & Ashleigh into town to obtain their marriage license and we just made a day of it, stopping everywhere to enjoy the area!  What a great way to spend earth day!  Today is their wedding and I can’t wait!!  This is all I have time to share right now!    more later!    **I really do love my job!  

Sooooo ~ I had all day event on May 2nd that was cancelled this morning

What is a photographer to do?! How about mini family sessions at some new secret urban locations I have been dying to shoot ~now that’s its beautiful out! **trust me ~ no one in GR has found these spots yet!! I will even bring my ‘trademark’ blue vintage couch and and some other funky furniture! This will be THE ONLY mini sessions I will be offering this year...so get your act together, dads put on your jeans and trendy t shirts, moms ~ funky dress and ballet flats….I will have a makeup artist available if you want, so you just need to show up dressed!  Kids….whatever you can get them in!  I know my regular clients will love this, but for the of you who have been considering custom photography….this just may be the chance to try it out!

These will be 1/2 hour sessions from 8am – 11am and 3pm to 8pm….**the sunrise & sunset times will have the best dramatic lighting~ you might have to fight over that slot! …..and are you ready for this steal of a price ~ $100 and it includes ****2 5×7’s & 1/2 off my normal portrait pricing if you place your order in two weeks after your gallery is published! Our families have known each other for ions….Maggie & I dreamed of our children playing together as we did when we were little…always making up “plays” and begging our moms to watch them…at any chance of extending our “play dates”  We even had a yearly Christmas drama….written by Maggie of course!  I’m talking like a 30 page script here…no sissy skits or anything!   They’re little girl is truly a miracle….and Chris & Maggie just adore her.  They have an amazing adoption story….which will be a book someday ~ right Maggie!   …and by the way, I don’t believe it’s any accident that this little girl looks like her mommy and daddy…I think that it’s God’s little extra way of showing them that she was truly meant for them!  Anyways.. oh my goodness, she did so well for us!  Look at all the things she let us do!  thanks *georgia*

I absolutely LOVE pics that look like real life magazine ads…and just simple text.  These are my favorite and you just can’t plan them…they just happen.  Below is the new little girl who belongs to our dear friends Chris & Maggie that I posted earlier ….*georgia* will have a full post later this week, but I just HAD to share this….

what a fabulous workshop!! I didn’t teach I actually attended! Lindsey DeYoung and I hosted a workshop at our studio, that Ali Hohn flew in and taught us!!! It was so fun to learn this lighting technique. We did it the entire weekend…so I am pretty sure I’ve got it down! The first five pics were taken in full sun! and the rest (except the sunset ones…) were all shot during daylight in well lit areas! Here are the fabulous results…way too many favorites!
