here are a few from there session at our studio…it was still a little chilly out, not like today, which was amazingly beautiful! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I still have a few sessions to blog….here is adorable Seeley, she is 6 months and this is the BEST age to photograph a baby, they sit anywhere you want them and smile at all the time! Here are a few from her session.

Lauren (bride below) has confessed to checking my blog constantly…and I know their honeymoon flight leaves at 8pm tonight…so I tried to get a few to you, but I really had a hard time picking out of more than 1000 images. So here are a few ~ not so many ~ sneak peaks! I just love thier connection…they really are in love with each other. I loved their engagement session too. Enjoy your vacation!

Photogs ~ this is the official first wedding of the season!! Yea!! Tech specs…that detail on the shoe – was shot with the D3 at ISO 1250 with a macro lens…beautiful (I love Nikon!) Their wedding was at Fredrick Meijer Gardens and Shelly’s Design’s did all the floral and decorating details.

I got an email the other day, that gave me goosebumps…

Remember, Nacole, pictured below, I photographed her for the Heart Gallery last fall. To see the post talking about the Heart Gallery **click here** She is being adopted!!!! Her family emailed me to request some photos of her that I took back in the fall. Amazing for this little girl and this couple, the beginning of this forever family for her….is God’s way of taking something so wrong and making it beautiful ~ I am so thankful for this family….you are amazing.

All 10 of those who have contacted me already….you know who you are…are IN. I’m sorry to the rest of you. If you were thinking about, I may have another one….but not until the winter. Thanks so much and I look forward to meeting all of you in three weeks!

Thanks for being so patient…I have had many people waiting for the announcement of the second workshop. I wasn’t sure I would be able to fit in…business is supposed to be slow…but it’s not! Read further for what’s taught and how to sign up. I am only taking limited registrations ~

What ~ Basic Photography Boot Camp

When ~ April 25th 6p-9:30p & 26th 9a-6p *including lunch

Cost ~ $150 *includes snacks, drinks, lunch, and a workbook.

Register ~ Seating will be limited for the quality of instruction to 10 attendees only. If you would like to sign up, please email me and I will forward you the sign up form and a pay your workshop fee through paypal to elitephotodesign@yahoo.com. I will send you a confirmation email after I receive them both.

Instruction ~ We will go over basic photography principles about lighting & placement. You will learn how to use your camera and you will be able to shoot in manual by the time you leave! You will also have a chance to watch me shoot and will practice on our guest subjects as well. You will also be shown beginner to intermediate techniques in Photoshop and other editing programs. It doesn’t matter what type of camera you have, you will still learn how to use it! I will also be giving you a workbook including a majority of this information and a cd of my favorite photoshop actions.

A lot of my clients have talked to me about having such a hard time picking which photos they want around their house and how to group them….I want to help, because it won’t do them justice sitting in the box!! I will make a brochure available to you that will guide you to different framing arrangements and making you comfortable with mixing B&W and color portraits. Here are a few examples….

I love the one of Tamara on her bed….looking a lot sexier than she feels, I’m sure. I should be hearing from you guys soon…as well as my other couples. I’m sure all of my babies sessions will come in one week. This session was a lot of fun and I enjoy watching the love of superman passed down for father to son. Here is a few favorites.
