What a fabulous couple and an amazing wedding!! Aaron + Kara live here in Kalamazoo, but were married where Kara grew up in New Jersey, I was so happy to be brought along The food at their wedding was AMAZING! DId you know that weddings on the east coast normally have a major dance party between EACH course???? LOVED that! They had fabulous drinks, ice sculptures, and michigan themed favors, and fries in cup at the end as you left left the reception! I think from the bajillion…(yep, I just used that word…) photos….you will see how fabulous it was! Enjoy some favorites!!

This photo session was on a warm day last October. This couple was married at Meadowbrook in Detroit last summer and really were not happy with their portraits together…(I did not shoot their wedding!) sadly ;( because as you can see….they have character!! So….they called me and asked if I could fit them in and shoot at Meadowbrook for some beautiful portraits. I agreed and can’t believe how it was difficult to capture these two…they were truly amazing, in love and easy to capture. So glad to have the opportunity! Here are a few faves!

a2 (squared) was their theme and it was adorable…abbe + adam were more adorable and I really enjoyed getting to know them! As you can see, their day was just amazing. The weather tried to thwart their day, but even giant puddles on the ground didn’t even phase them! And we captured some amazing moments!!! They had their ceremony + reception at a tented outdoor reception site at COSI in Columbus Ohio. They have an amazing group of friends and family who helped them have an amazing celebration. Abbe LOVES to dance + entertain….so as you can see, we have a ‘few’ pics of her showing off her moves Enjoy just a *few* favorites….

Just thought I would share In Frame is a fabulous magazine that caters to helping brides choose their wedding photographer, of course it highlights other vendors that helped make the wedding so beautiful to photograph in the first place! As you can see – Don + Liz’s wedding is quite a hit in the publishing world There is also a feature article the editor *Kristine Crawford* wrote on our local hospital program *Whispers* affiliated with NILMDTS. The other article is in Grand Rapids Magazine’s Feb issue with a special wedding section this month

Couldn’t wait to post this wedding…..you will see why I adore this family, and was so glad to be able to capture this event for them. Neil + Erin are an amazing couple, and their wedding reflected them perfectly. Huge thanks to Kelly Braman for shooting with me always amazing images.
