Normally, I have pretty simple, no frills blog titles….but I was told that their’s was to be labeled *HOT DAMN*….it was SUPER hot on their wedding day…so I agreed

This is my U of M couple who now live in St. Louis…remember their amazing engagement session??? These two are so in love. It’s lovely to see One of my favorite parts of the night, are the toasts….this is the part of the night where you find out what everyone else think of the bride + groom, and I truly tear up a lot during the speeches…because I have amazing brides and grooms….Cristian and Emily are no exception.

Do you see their love affair with yellow? or should I say “Maize” if were technical….you wolverines We HAD to pick a crazy bright yellow wall to shoot them all on….the wedding bus cheered when we pulled up…thats NEVER happened before Big thanks to Beth for shooting with me~ we always have fun shooting together! Enjoy seeing a bazillion of my favorites!

Wow – sorry for my long silence….my life, professionally + personally has been an especially busy one in the past month and a half…anywhoo…I’m back!

Oh ~ another FABULOUS wedding!! Patrick + Kristin live in California and were married here in Grand Haven Michigan, lucky for me I LOVE shooting in urban locations, but never push my couples if it’s not what they want….but luckily….they were totally up for it! We had great weather and everything about their day was perfect. Did you see Kristen’s shoes??? soooo BOLD. loved them…and the back of her dress?? best one I have photographed to date! Here are a few of my favorites!!

Oh – what a way to start the season!! I adore Jordan + Amy….and so does everyone they know, you should have heard their toasts! If you didn’t know them well…you’d want to! What a humble, selfless couple. Anyhooo! Sorry for starting out so mushy It rained pretty much all day..we never got a break…but we made it, and didn’t melt! It was still a gorgeous day, and we still captured everything perfectly! Here are a few of my favorites! Enjoy my commentary below

I LOVE this series!!! This was the only 5 minutes it wasn’t raining…during their special “first glance”….

Aren’t they adorable?! They are making googly eyes at each other in uncontained excitment that they’re married *during PRAYER* I LOVE IT!!

Here we go! An all day wedding workshop! At a real wedding! How?? I have one amazing couple who has granted us all permission to be a witness their day! We will have one meeting in May, and early Saturday before the wedding, and several teaching opportunities throughout the day!

We are also working with some amazing event designers and vendors….to make this a one of a kind event to the Midwest! I will share specifics of “who” next week! I am so excited to announce this…and I know some of you have been DYING to sign up! Well – it’s officially time to sign up!
