Basic Photography Boot Camp

When ~ Saturday, February 4th @ 9:30-12:30

What’s covered???? ~ This morning workshop is for the new photographer who wants to learn how to understand their camera, and basic natural lighting techniques. You will understand how to shoot in manual by the time you leave and the skills needed to master that on your own with practice. You will also be shown basic editing skills in entry level editing programs. It doesn’t matter what type of camera you have, you will still learn how to use it! This is an interactive class!

Advanced Photography Bootcamp

When ~ Saturday, February 4th @ 1:30-4:30

Cost ~ $350 *includes drinks, healthy snack + mini booklet

What will I learn?? ~ We will cover all basic camera modes briefly, to make sure we’re on the same page. But this class will concentrate more on lighting and subject interaction, + technique. I will show you how I shoot and interact with my subjects, and post-camera workflow to intermediate editing techniques in Aperture + Photoshop. We will have child/adult model for practice as well, depending on class’s subject interest.

One~on~One Bootcamp

When ~ Saturday, February 4th @ 5-8pm **55min time slots 5-6p / 6-7p / 7-8p **3 available ~ $125 for workshop attendees ~$175 for non attendees

….these time slots are available for the evening following the workshops for those who may or may not have attended and would like a more in depth / portfolio review / topic of your choice

Oh my goodness! I could not wait to share this this session and the set that Beth + I put together…on THE windiest day possible But you’d never know it! I can’t get enough of these photos….sooooooo fun, and the colors??? and aren’t their kids freakin adorable?? and it may or may not have gotten a little steamy up in that tent ;0 LOVE everything about this…see for yourself.

I go way back with these two ….and am so thrilled to be able to capture their family;) This year I cooked up something EXTRA fun for little *G… it was soooooo fun I think you see what she thought of my idea!! She also showed us some of her dance moves….and a few taught to her by her aunt Ellen…I love you ellen

The Dallon’s won my family photo contest back in the beginning of the summer….and their session was soooooo adorable and kids were just perfect. I hope you love seeing a few of my favorites!

Yes, I did use the uber, and I’m sorry for those of you who can’t handle that…but it was the coolest word I could think of Kelly is an amazing photographer and we have shot together quite a bit, and she shot my family last year and I was IN love with them and could not thank her enough….as I’m sure many of you know how much work it is to get ready for family portraits…and you just HOPE they look good! Well, I am so excited to share with you what we did for Kelly’s family shoot. Kelly is a country/vintage girl….so naturally, a vintage Ford truck, pillows, quilts, clotheslines, and a picnic basket was exactly what we had to do Luckily, Jamie Lou from Hey Day Event Lab totally saw our vision + did so much work to help make this session extra -uber-fabulous and….luckily, Kelly has relatives with old trucks…cause I’ve been looking for one of those fooooorever We all collaborated and something amazing was captured… and I am so happy to just a share a few ….
