Oh how I love the Pottengers Max just turned one! But….he is scared of me. He came to my studio about 3 months ago….I was shooting John’s extended family and as soon as he looked at me…he would start to pout..and eventually cry. As long as I hid behind my camera, he couldn’t see me, and he was tear free! I really thought my bright red hair was scaring him So I was a bit nervous for this session… I knew I couldn’t do the normal things, like tickle him, grab his toes, or throw leaves…because he was still a bit unsure of me. But his big sister, mom, + dad sure can get him to smile!!

Max…hopefully I’m growing on you Also, have included a few from Lexi’s “staged” 3yr photoshoot from two months earlier That girl loves my camera – red hair and all Don’t you love the stage??? So did she…do you see her moves?

A mini-session is…. 20 mins of shooting inside my studio or out…because we know Michigan weather is unpredictable 25 edited images in an online gallery with an option for printing and ALL 25 full size digital image files via gallery download only.

1st + 2nd choice time?

They have been for a while actually , but are getting married today and after meeting them last night, I am in love with them already!! We shot these photos you see below in about 15 minutes, in the middle of their rehearsal dinner, and they were nervous about pictures…I didn’t believe them for a second!! Seriously….they are freakin’ adorable. I’m pretty sure you’re smitten by them, and you’ve never met them! Congrats you two

Amy and her adorable family were just amazing a their beach session! I did ask her to meet me at 8am, which I know is early to have your family ready, but the lighting was so yummy! And in return, I did volunteer to carry my huge yellow wingback chair and chandelier all the way out to pier…it was quite the site It certainly got a lot of attention! As you can see – they just had fun..and many thanks to grandma for coming too – so all children were kept safe during the session! Amy is a photographer who lives in Texas, but grew up in Grand Haven….and as well as I know, it is so fabulous to actually be IN pictures with your children, so I truly hope you cherish the images we captured Amy!!
